PromptBox Privacy Policy

PromptBox is an offline AI prompt library and prompt builder app. This Privacy Policy explains how PromptBox handles information when you use the app.

PromptBox is designed with a privacy-first approach. The app does not require an account, login, backend server, cloud synchronization, or AI API connection to function.

PromptBox does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data.

We do not collect:

• Name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Location
• Contacts
• Photos or media
• Device identifiers
• Payment information
• Analytics data
• Advertising identifiers
• Usage data sent to external servers

PromptBox does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools.

PromptBox stores some information locally on your device to make the app work properly.

This may include:

• App language preference
• Theme preference
• Setup/onboarding preferences
• Selected prompt categories
• Selected AI tool preferences
• Favorite prompts
• Prompt copy history
• Custom prompts created by the user
• Prompt variable values while you customize a prompt in the app

This information is stored only on your device using local storage. It is not sent to the developer, any backend server, or any third-party service.

Local data is used only to provide app functionality, such as:

• Remembering your selected language and theme
• Showing your favorite prompts
• Displaying your prompt history
• Saving your custom prompts
• Personalizing your offline prompt experience

PromptBox does not currently use third-party analytics, advertising, account, cloud storage, or tracking services.

If future versions introduce optional services such as cloud sync, analytics, ads, subscriptions, or AI API integrations, this Privacy Policy will be updated before those features are released.

PromptBox does not share user data with the developer or third parties.

If you use your device's built-in share feature, the content you choose to share is handled by the app or service you select. PromptBox does not control how external apps process shared content.

Because PromptBox stores data locally on your device, the security of that data depends partly on your device security settings.

We recommend using your device's screen lock, password, PIN, fingerprint, or face unlock features to help protect your local data.

PromptBox keeps local app data on your device until you delete it.

You can remove local data by:

• Using the reset/clear data option inside the app, if available
• Clearing the app's storage from your device settings
• Uninstalling the app

After local data is deleted from your device, PromptBox cannot recover it.

PromptBox is not specifically designed for children. The app does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are made, the updated version will be made available on this page and/or inside the app.
